2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — name and email address you provide when registering.
  • Monitor configuration — URLs, names, and check intervals you add to your account.
  • Monitor logs — response times, HTTP status codes, and uptime results collected during automated checks.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use the following cookies and browser storage:

  • PHPSESSID — Session cookie. Essential for keeping you logged in during a browser session. Expires when you close your browser.
  • remember_me — Persistent authentication cookie, set only when you choose "Remember me". Expires after 30 days. Essential/functional.
  • gdpr_consent — Stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie). Records your cookie consent choice. Never sent to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google Fonts — We load fonts from fonts.googleapis.com. Your browser may send your IP address to Google when loading these assets. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Stripe — Used for payment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment data under their own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — processing your account and monitor data to deliver the service.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — service security and reliability monitoring.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — loading Google Fonts from external servers (non-essential).

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Monitor logs (response times, status codes) are retained for 90 days.
  • When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.

7. Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the EU. If you choose non-essential features that involve third-party services (such as Google Fonts), data may be transferred outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing) without affecting prior processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
